Court Navigator

The Shelby County Treatment Program focuses on targeting criminogenic needs of at risk youth, ages 10-18, to reduce future delinquent behavior.

This is accomplished by the introduction of personal coping skills, AOD/Mental health counseling, as well as problem solving and education in an effort to change the automatic thinking error process.  Upon entrance into the Juvenile Justice system, youth are referred to a therapist contracted to the court by the Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio, for the administration of screening tools, to determine risk of recidivism or further exploration of an AoD or mental health disorder.
