Diversion 

A voluntary program offered to youth charged with offenses such as Unruly and Status offenses, Truancy, and non-violent Misdemeanors. Through an informal meeting with the Diversion Officer, the purpose is to divert youth from formal court processing and reduce subsequent delinquent behavior.  Upon successful completion of the agreed upon contract, the charges are then dismissed and sealed.
